Bangladesh have been restricted to 143 for 9, adding only 48 runs in the last 10 overs. Losing the top order quickly made the difference as they couldn't accelerate after a quickfire start, and they wouldn't be pleased with the final total. A fine job by Windies, especially Kesrick Williams who did the damage in the second half with four wickets.

Kerick Williams may have come in to the attaack quite late, but has made quite an impact. Not surprisingly, Bangladesh's tail isn't putting up a good fight. Williams has already bagged four wickets and left them reeling at 139 for 9.

In what has now become a pattern of Bangladesh's innings today. One wicket follows another. Mahmudullah is cleaned up. And what looked like a promising innings has ended before it could explode. Bangladesh looked well set to post a 170+ total for a long time, but that seems quite distant for now.

A comedy of errors there! Windies go up in appeal for an LBW. Umpire doesn't give in. But in the process, Dinesh Ramdhin attempts a run out at the batsman's end. The batsman survives but the ball rolls to the non-striker's end and Mahmudullah is caught out of the crease. As he walks back to the hut, the leg umpire asks him to stop and checks for a hit-wicket. Replays, however, suggest that the batsman was bowled. Mahmudullah survives, Ariful doesn't. A wicket goes down, nonetheless.

Kesrick Williams comes into the attack quite late in the innings, but strikes rightaway. Mushfiqur rahman, who was playing the second fiddle in the fifth wicket stand with Mahmudullah, is out caught at deep third man. 95 for 5 in 10 overs.

Much like Shakib Al Hasan's approach, Mahmudullah isn't holding back either. He is taking the attack to Samuel Badree. Bangladesh are scoring at a fair pace. But with four wickets down and not the deepest of batting to rely upon, they need to be a bit more cautious. 66/4

Shakib Al Hasan's counter-attacking innings has come to an end, courtesy a fine catch at the third man boundary by Kesrick Williams. The catch was referred to the third umpire, and given the new rules, it seemed like a six. But the third umpire didn't think so. Both Liton Das and Shakib Al Hasan have fallen in quick succession. Keemo Paul on a hat-trick.

After all the talks about the importance of patience on West Indian wickets, Tamim Iqbal steps out of his crease to send Ashley Nurse's delivery out of the ground. But the offspinner, opening the attack, bowls it flat and away from his body. The southpaw misses it and is out stumped. Windies strike off the first ball of the match.

Despite a heavy drizzle, the match starts only five minutes into the scheduled start.
